Foaming Hand Wash


Ingredients
:

2 TBS Liquid Castile Soap
1-2 tsp. Fractionated coconut oil
10-15 drops your favorite essential oil(s)
Water or rose water
13oz foam soap dispenser

Directions:
Combine Castile soap, coconut oil, essential oil, and fill the rest of the soap dispenser with water. Give it a gentle shake to combine and enjoy!

*I personally like citrus castile with lemon essential oil.

Chicken Fajita's Seasoning

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp olive oil

2 Tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp Lawry’s season salt

1/2 tsp oregano

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

1/8 tsp

2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken


Directions:

Mix seasonings with prepared chicken. 

Marinate for several hours.

Cook to your liking. I usually cut my chicken in strips and fry on stovetop. I sear the meat and then cook on low until the meat is cooked but still tender.

 Ingredients: 

 5 lbs all purpose flour 

4 teaspoons salt

1-1/4 cups sugar 

1c. instant nonfat dry milk


Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Stir together and distribute evenly. Put in an airtight container.

Basic Cake Mix

Ingredients:

8 c cake flour 

1 1⁄2 tsp salt

6 c sugar 

2 1⁄2 shortening (if not using Add 1⁄2 oil when making cake)

1⁄4 c baking powder


DirectionsSift flour if you don't have cake flour remove 1/2c flour and add 1/2c cornstarch sift 5 times

Add sugar, baking powder, sugar cut in shortening until evenly distributed store in an airtight container makes 16 cups


Oatmeal Mix

Ingredients:

3 C all purpose flour

3 1⁄2 tsp baking powder

1 1/ tsp salt 

1⁄2c sugar

1 c brown sugar

1 1⁄2 c shortening (or 1/4c oil at Time of making mix) 

3 c oats

Directions: Sift flour, baking powder, salt and granulated sugar, stir in brown sugar mix well. Cut in shortening until evenly distributed. Stir in oats and mix well

Ingredients:

6 C. all purpose flour

4 tsp baking powder

4 tsp salt

Homemade Bisquick

INGREDIENTS:

8 1⁄2 c cups flour

1 tsp baking soda

2 tsp cream of tarter 

2 1/4c shortening

3 tbsp baking powder

1 1⁄2 C instant nonfat dry milk 

1 tbsp salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

Using a KitchenAid mixer (with the paddle attachment) or food processor, blend all ingredients until you have a powder.Store in an airtight container for up to 6 weeks.If you use butter, baking mix needs to be stored in the fridge or freezer so that the butter won’t go rancid. If using shortening, it can be stored in a cool, dry place.Portion it out and freeze the portions in separate containers. Treat your freezer like a vault, not a pantry.I usually do about 3 batches of this recipe at once.

Karine’s Drop Biscuits

Easy Chicken Pot Pie With Bisquick Crust

Muffin Mix

Ingredients:

8 c. flour* 

3 c. sugar 

3 tbsp. baking powder 

2 tsp. Salt 

1 tbsp. cinnamon


Directions:

Mix all the ingredients together and store in an airtight container. Make sure to mix it really well so that the ingredients are evenly distributed in the container. 

*You can substitute wheat flour for the white flour if you like, or substitute part of the white flour with another kind of flour. In my mix I used 6 c. white flour and 2 c. oat flour.

If you are wanting to make a gluten free muffin mix, then substitute your favorite gluten free flour blend instead. Just make sure it doesn’t already have baking powder added to it.

Ingredients:

4 c all purpose flour 

1 tbsp salt

4 1⁄2 c cornmeal later in recipe)

1⁄4 c baking powder

3⁄4 c sugar

1 cup shortening (or 1/4c butter/oil)


Directions:

Combine all dry ingredients cut in shortening or add 1/4c in each recipe later. With a pastry blender cut in shortening entil evenly distributed, add cornmeal and mix makes about 10 1⁄2 c of mix

Variation if you prefer cornstarch pudding substitute 2 cups cornstarch for flour.

Easy Chicken Pot Pie With Bisquick Crust

Ingredients:

1 pound chicken breast uncooked

1 16 ounce bag of frozen mixed vegetables 

1 10 ounce can of cream of mushroom soup 

1⁄2 cup chicken broth

1⁄2 cup green onions finely diced

Bisquick top layer

1 cup Bisquick 

1/2 cup milk 

1 egg

Directions: Bring a medium sized pot of water to a boil. Add chicken and cook until no longer pink inside, about 20 minutes. Chop into bite size pieces.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a 10 inch round baking dish with nonstick spray. Add chicken, frozen vegetables, mushroom soup, chicken broth and green onions. Stir to combine everything.

  1. Time to make the bisquick top layer. In a small bowl mix bisquick, milk and egg.

  2. Spread bisquick layer on top of the pie, using a spatula to cover the entire thing.

  3. Bake for 30 minutes. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving

Sausage Cheese Balls

Ingredients:

2 16 ounce rolls pork sausage such as Jimmy Dean

1 1/2 cups all purpose baking mix such as Bisquick 

4 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/3 cup grated onion

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Optional garnish: chopped parsley cooking spray

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Coat a rimmed sheet pan with cooking spray.Place the sausage, baking mix, cheese, onion, garlic powder, milk and black pepper in a bowl; stir until thoroughly combined. A stand mixer works great for this! Roll the meat mixture into 1 inch balls and place on the baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until browned. Sprinkle with parsley if desired and serve.

Turn over Fried Pies

Ingredients:

Vegetable oil for frying 

1⁄2 c milk

2 c Homemade Bisquick

fruit for filling

Directions: Preheat 1 inch of oil to 350. Combine quick mix and milk blend. On a lightly floured surface knead about 15 times, until dough is smooth, roll dough cut into 5 inch diameter circles. Place in 1 or 2 tbsp filling on half of the side fold over and press the edges firmly with a fork dipped in flour. Fry in oil for about 2 min on each side until golden brown.


Karine’s Drop Biscuits

Ingredients:

3 c Homemade Bisquick

3/4 water or milk

Directions: Mix lightly until dough forms a ball. Turn onto a lightly floured surface. Knead 10-12 times. Roll dough about 1⁄2 inch thick. Cut with a 2-inch cutter or the rim of a glass dipped in flour. Bake at 450 degrees for 10-12 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet. For drop biscuits, use 1 cup water and drop by tablespoonfuls onto a baking sheet. Makes one dozen.

*For cheese biscuits, add 1⁄4 cup cheddar cheese.


Impossible Pie

Ingredients:

1⁄2 c sugar

4 eggs

2 c milk

1 tsp vanilla

3 tbsp butter

1⁄2 tsp cinnamon

1⁄4 tsp nutmeg 

1⁄2 c Homemade Bisquick

Directions: Preheat oven 400 butter 9 inch pan. In a blender combine sugar, eggs, milk,vanilla melted butter, cinnamon and nutmeg. Blend till smooth, add a quick mix and blend for 30 more seconds. Pour into prepared pie pan bake 25 to 30 mins until golden brown


Never Fail Rolled Biscuits

Ingredients:

3 cups quick mix

3/4 cup water or milk

Directions: Mix lightly until dough forms a ball. Turn onto a lightly floured surface. Knead 10-12 times. Roll dough about 1⁄2 inch thick. Cut with a 2-inch cutter or the rim of a glass dipped in flour. Bake at 450 degrees for 10-12 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet. Variations...
Cheese and herb biscuits: add 1⁄3 c grated cheddar cheese and chopped parsley, chives, or herbs to taste while stirring dough
Buttermilk biscuits substitute 3⁄4 C buttermilk for milk. Country Dumplings drop dough by tablespoons over top of boiling beef or chicken stew. Boilgently 10 min. Uncovered. Cover and cook over medium high heat 10 more minutes,until cooked through makes 12 dumplings
Orange biscuits: Ad 1 tbsp grated orange pee;. If desired, substitute 2 tbsp orange juice for part of milk 

Crispy Breadsticks

Ingredients:

1 c Homemade Bisquick

about 1⁄4 c milk

1⁄4 c cornmeal or flour  

1⁄4 tsp salt

sesame or poppy seeds

Directions: Preheat oven 400 lightly grease baking sheet, combine quick mix, cornmeal, and salt, add milk to form dough. Knead about 12 times until the dough is smooth. Shape into pencil strands 1⁄2 inch thick. Cut into 8 to 10 strips rolled in sesame or poppy seed. Bake 20 min until brown and crisp for extra crispness turn off oven and leave breadstick in oven about 5 min.make 6 breadsticks

Hot Fudge Pudding Cake

Ingredients:

1 1⁄2 c Homemade Bisquick

1⁄2 c sugar

2 tbsp Cocoa 

3⁄4 c nuts

1 tsp vanilla

3⁄4 c Brown Sugar

1⁄4 c cocoa powder 

1 1⁄2 c boiling water

1⁄2 c milk

Directions: Preheat oven 350 ungreased 8 inch pan combine quick mix, sugar, 2 tbsp cocoa, nuts. Milk and vanilla blend well. Combine brown sugar and 1⁄4 c cocoa in a small bowl. Sprinkle over top of cake mixture. Gently pour boiling water over top of mixture. Do not stir. Bake 35 to 40 min until edges separate from pan and cool 15 min before serving.

Bisquick Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter 

1 cup brown sugar 

1 egg 

2 tsp vanilla

2 3/4 c Homemade Bisquick

1/2 cup chocolate chips *see notes

1/2 cup peanut butter chips *see notes

extra chocolate and peanut butter chips for the top of the cookies

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Use a mixer to cream the butter and brown sugar until it is light and fluffy.
1/2 cup butter,1 cup brown sugar
Add the egg and vanilla to the mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.
1 egg,2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Add the Bisquick mix to the wet ingredients and blend on low speed. Then stir in the chocolate chips and peanut butter chips, reserving a few to place on top.

2 3/4 cup Bisquick Pancake & Baking Mix,1/2 cup chocolate chips,1/2 cup peanut butter chips
Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto ungreased cookie sheets. Press a few chocolate chips or peanut butter chips on top of the cookies. extra chocoalte and peanut butter chips for the top of the cookies Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes until the edges are set and the cookies are golden brown.
Let them cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes. Then place them on cooling racks.

Notes

  • ●  These are also great with all chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, toffee chips or whatever kind you like best!

  • ●  Soften the butter before starting baking.

  • ●  Pressing extra chocolate chips into the top of the cookies makes

    them look amazing after baking

Banana Nut Bread

Ingredients:

2/3 cup sugar 

2 eggs

3 very ripe bananas mashed 

1 teaspoon vanilla 

2 cups quick mix 

1/2 tsp baking soda 

1/2c buttermilk 

1⁄2 c nuts

1 tbsp Lemon juice

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease a 12-cup muffin tin with baking spray or line it with baking cups.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, bananas, and vanilla with a whisk or hand mixer.

  3. In a small mixing bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Then, mix the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined.

  4. Divide the muffin batter evenly into the muffin cups. Bake for 17 to 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. When done, immediately remove the muffins from the muffin tin and place them on a cooling rack


Honey butter

Ingredients:

1 C Butter softened 

1 egg yolk

1 1⁄4 c Honey

Directions: Beat for 10 mins store in fridge makes 2 1⁄2 cups


Millionaire Bars Golden Cornbread

Ingredients:

1 1/2 C Homemade Bisquick

4 tsp Sugar

3⁄4 C Cornmeal

1 C Milk or water 

1 Egg

Butter or honey

Directions: Preheat oven 400 grease8 inch pan. Combine dry ingredients. In a different bowl mix wet ingredients add 1⁄2 wet ingredients to dry ingredients blend well add the rest of the mix blend well. Spread mixture evenly into pan, bake 25 to 30 min, Serve hot with honey butter if desired 

Indian Fry Bread

Ingredients:

Vegetable oil 

1⁄4 tsp salt

1 c Homemade Bisquick

about 1⁄3 c milk or water 

1⁄2 c flour

Directions: In a deep skillet, heat oil to 375. Combine the quick mix, flour and salt mix well. Add enough milk or water to make a soft dough, on a lightly floured surface. Knead about 12 times. Divide into 2 balls pat or roll each ball out to 1⁄4 inch thickness. Cut into 6 wedges. Fry in a hot oil about 2 to 3 mins until brown on both sides, drain on a paper towel makes 12


Crescent butter Cookies

Ingredients:

2 C Homemade Bisquick 

1/4 C Sugar 

1⁄2 Butter

1 tsp Vanilla

1⁄2 C pecan 

powdered sugar

Directions: Preheat oven 350 grease cookie sheet combine quick mis and sugar. Mix well. With a pastry blender , cut in butter until evenly distributed. Add vanilla and nuts. Blend wedd, roll teaspoon of dough to a thin 2 1 ⁄ 2 inch length, shaped into crescents on unbuttered bikinis sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until light brown, cool slightly roll war cookies in powdered sugar makes 36 to 48


Nevada Pancakes

Ingredients:

2 1/4c Homemade Bisquick

1 1⁄2 C Milk or water 

1 tbsp Sugar 

1 Egg

Directions: Combine dry ingredients. Combine wet ingredients, add to dry ingredients, stir, blend well, let stand 5 to 10 min, cook on a hot oiled griddle for about 3 to 4 min until browned on both sides. Makes 10 to 12 4 inch pancakes.

Cinnamon Thins

Ingredients:

3 C Homemade Bisquick

2 tbsp Sugar

1⁄3 C Milk or water 

3 Tbsp Cinnamon

1 tsp Vanilla 

1 Egg beaten

1⁄4 c butter

1 1⁄3 C Sugar

Preheat oven 450 Generously grease baking sheet, combine quick mix and 2 Tbsp sugar stir until well blended, in a small bowl combine melted butter, milk and egg, Add to dry ingredients. Stir with a fork until mixture is moistened, on a lightly floured surface knead 8 to 10 times until dough is smooth, form dough into forty 1 inch balls. MIx together 1 1⁄3 sugar and cinnamon sprinkle generously on wax paper, coat each ball with sugar cinnamon mixture. Place another sheet of wax paper on top of the ball and roll out with a rolling pin. Turning dough over several time until well coated and paper thin place on prepared baking sheet bake 4 to 5 min until light brown and crisps make 40

Madeline Muffins

Ingredients:

2 1/2 C Homemade Bisquick 

1 C Milk or water 

4 tbsp Sugar 

1 Egg

Butter or honey


DirectionsPreheat oven 425 grease muffin pan. Combine dry ingredients and mix wet ingredients add to dry ingredients stir until just blended fill prepared muffin pans 2⁄3 full bake 15 to 20 min until golden brown. Serve hot with butter and honey if desired

Molasses cookies

Ingredients:

2 C Homemade Bisquick

1⁄4 C Sugar

1/2 Tsp Cinnamon 

1/2 tsp Nutmeg

1⁄4 tsp Cloves 

1 Eggs Yolk

1⁄2 C Molasses sugar

Directions: Combine Quick mix, sugar cinn, ginger, and cloves, mix well Combine egg, molasses, add to dry mix, blend well, refrigerate at least one hour. Preheat oven 375 grease baking sheets, shape dough into 1 1⁄2 inch balls and roll in sugar flatten balls bake 8 to 10 min.

Sunshine Coffee Cake

Ingredients:

3 C Homemade Bisquick 

1/3 C Sugar 

1 C Milk or water

1 tsp Vanilla 

1 Egg

Cinnamon crumble topping

Cinnamon crumble topping

1/3 c Flour

1⁄2 C dry breadcrumbs Cookie or cake crumbs 

1⁄4 tsp Nutmeg

1⁄2 c Brown Sugar 

1 tsp cinnamon

1/4c butter

Directions: heat over 350 butter 8 inch pan combine dry ingredients mix. In a small bowl add wet ingredients mix well fold into dry ingredients spread half of cinnamon crumble in pan add mix and put the rest on top cook 40 to 50 min

Cinncrumble

Combine flour, crumbs, brown sugar, and cinnamon with a pastry blender cut in butter. 

Sugar cookies

Ingredients:

3 C Homemade Bisquick

1 tsp Vanilla 

1 C Sugar 

1 Egg

1⁄2 C Milk or water

Directions: Preheat oven 375 grease cookie sheet combine dry ingredients and add wet ingredients mix well drop on sheet bake 10 to 20 mins


Super duper doughnut

Ingredients:

2 C Homemade Bisquick

1⁄4 C Sugar

1⁄4 Tsp Cinnamon 

1⁄4 tsp Nutmeg

1 tsp Vanilla

1 Egg

1⁄3 C Milk

Vanilla Glaze

Vanilla Glaze

1 1/4 C Powder Sugar 

2 Tbsp Milk 

1⁄2 tsp Vanilla


Directions: In a deep fryer, heat oil. In a medium bowl, combine QM, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg blend well in a small bowl min vanilla egg and milk add all at once to dry ingredients, stir til well blended. On a lightly floured surface,knead dough for about 10 min. Roll out 1⁄2 inch thickness and cut with flour doughnut cutter, fry in hot oil andbout 1 min on each side until golden brown drain on paper towels drizzle vanilla glaze


Snappy ginger cookies

Ingredients:

3 c Gingerbread mix

1 egg 

1⁄3 c molasses sugar 

1/4c butter (if you didn’t add to mix)

Directions: Preheat oven 375 lightly grease pan combine gingerbread mix molasses and egg blend well. Chill dough for easier handling. Shape into 1 inch ball roll in sugar place balls 2 inches apart on baking sheet flatten balls with plat bake 12 to 15 mins makes 24 cookies
