Ingredients:
1 c flour
2⁄3 c molasses icing mortar
2 eggs
Icing mortar 3 egg whites room temp
1 pd powder sugar
1⁄2 cream of tartar
Look for a house template online
Directions: Combine gingerbread molasses, egg and flour. Blend well. Divide dough into 4 balls, place the ball in a baking sheet cover with wax paper and roll out 1 ⁄ 8 inch to 1 ⁄ 4 inch thick.dough should be smooth without air bubbles and cut immediately. Carefully loosen pieces and put on a wire rack to dry overnight. Prepare icing mortar. With icing dicorate sides and roof on a flat surface. Let the decorated piece dry for 3 to 4 hours. Cut a 12x14 base from a heavy cardboard cover with aluminum foil. Trace around roof pattern on center of base to indicate size and placement of house. Put a row of icing along the back, and front of the house and proop with glasses. Put the door in place, slightly pop open. Put icing along both sides edges and stand right wall in place make sure house is square on floor plan. Let icing harden for about 10 minutes,remove glasses, attach roof 1 side at a time using icing mortar to hold in position support roof in place with a glass.
