Ingredients:
1/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
½ teas. Cinnamon
¼ teas. Nutmeg
4 cups sliced peeled tart apples (I used 2 quart jars of peaches and omitted the sugar)
1/3 cup orange juice
Topping:
1 cup flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 ½ teas. Baking powder
¼ teas. Salt
½ cup cold butter
½ cup fat-free milk
Directions:
In a lg. Bowl combine first 4 ingredients, add apples and orange, coat well. Put into a pan coated with non-stick spray. For topping combine first 4 ingredients, cut in butter to resemble coarse crumbs. Stir in milk just to moisten. Drop 8 mounds on apples and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake at 375 for 30 to 35 min.
