Ingredients:
4-5 Cups Tart Apples (cook in micro for 5-7mins)
1 Cup Sugar
2-3 T Flour
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/8 tsp. Salt
1 T Lemon Juice
2 T Butter
(May need a little water 1/4 cup)
Directions:
Peel, Core and slice Apples. Steam apples gently in 1/4 Cup water until they wilt and begin to become transparent. Can cook in microwave for 5-7minutes. Combine the dry ingredients. Mix well. Drain and reserve the liquid from Apples, replace 1/4 Cup of this liquid with the 1/4 Cup of Water. Sprinkle Apples with the dry ingredients. Mix carefully. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle pie filling with Lemon Juice and dot with Butter. Roll, fit and seal the top crust. Bake on lower shelf of the oven at 425 for 30-40 minutes.
